Aside from being a household name with a 90-year legacy, Breville is an expansive global company and thus has broad content and strategy needs across PR, marketing, social, paid media and internally to support regular launches of new products and general brand messaging. Keeping each brand territory in mind is key to all projects, as well as devising nimble ways to keep brand legacy intact while breaking new ground creatively and conceptually. Lucky for us, there’s endless coffee to hand with these guys.
We’re proud to work with this iconic Australian brand, founded in Melbourne in 1932. Our work spans many arms of the Breville business, from a complete tone of voice revamp across the Breville brand, to social strategy and extensive website copy to support the launch of a new coffee-delivery service, Beanz, in the US and UK markets. We collaborate with Breville on regular shoots for multiple communication channels, and work with the team on a regular basis to concept, art direct and deliver multi-channel campaigns that involve complex video and stills, intricate set styling, graphic design, copywriting (which is then translated into multiple languages to roll out globally). Working together on an ongoing basis has resulted in a relationship with strong mutual trust, a springboard from which we believe our best work is launched.
In 2022 we delivered our most successful organic campaign yet with this wonderful client. “Feels Like Home, Because You Are” was a global campaign which aimed to connect with Breville’s broad audience on an emotional rather than commercial level. Four hero videos featured four vibrant talent including comedian and design buff Tim Ross, visual performance artists The Huxleys, Korean chef Jung Eun Chae and fashionable Melbourne creator duo Ginger & Carmen. Our campaign strategy involved art direction, scripting and videography that felt candid, unfussy and approachable, breaking through the polished Breville veneer and allowing the subject to reveal to the viewer a glimpse into their home and the appliance that makes their space feel like their own.
