Cook & Waiter stands at the forefront of delivering bespoke, high-quality, creative and moment-driven experiences. With a new event space, Saltbox, poised to open at Wunderlich Lane and an appetite to further cement their brand presence online, Cook & Waiter approached Buffet to engage their audience through content that more accurately reflects the artistry, passion and meticulous care that defines them.

The Buffet Approach

Our content strategy looked to inject the innovative, creative and passionate energy that Cook & Waiter embodies. First, we worked to refresh its tone of voice and messaging to feel luxe, lively and glamorous without being too buttoned up — with brand copy to top off their website refresh. New art direction incorporated deeply toned golds, emeralds and browns to evoke a sense of warmth and exclusivity with dramatic, flash-lit settings. Day was evoked with lots of hard shadows, while night was expressed via rich high contrast colours highlighted in beams/pools of light. Spy it all in action on @cookandwaiter and @saltboxvenue.

On video, single frames accentuate luxurious plating moments, highlighting the detail of each dish’s beautiful ingredients from a more sensory, immersive and aspirational perspective.
